These chucks have been specially developed for machining components that require location and clamping on the out side diameter as well as on the face. precise radial location and clamping by the jaws mounted on the diaphragm, coupled with the pull back action of the angular movement of the clamps against the butting face, assures concen tricity and rigid clamping.

Interchangeable jaws, arms and radial clamps enable the chucks to accommodate varioussizes of components, thereby considerably reducing the inventory of work holding fixtures.

These chucks facilitate easy loading and unloading of components and average out the errors of primary operations for improved quality. While the chuck mounting details depend on the mavhine spindle, the weight, clamping and overhand details depend upon the component to be machined.
