Manufactured from high-grade
alloy steel, all the sliding
surfaces of this chucks are
hardened and ground for accurate
running and long service. Standard
hard and soft jaws are provided
for chucking the special components.
The Wedge design of the chuck
has a self-locking feature,
that prevents accidents and
it does not loose its gripping
power even at cutting loads.
Each base jaw is provided with
a lubricating nipple to ensure
long and trouble free life.
Not only are these chucks compact,
rigid and light in weight, but
they also offer a powerful grip
along with high repeatability.
They are ideal for high speed
chucking, bar chucking, universal
machining and especially suitable
for CNC machines.
These chuck are actuated by
rear mounted hydraulic or pneumatic
cylinder via the draw bar passing
through the spindle bore. Since
it is important that the cylinder
should provide the correct operating
force to match the chuck, the
supply of line pressure to the
cylinder should be adjusted
accordingly.
Special chucks with large bore
(approx, 15% larger) can also
be supplied for higher speed
and gripping force.
